Volume worked out properly
Your cubic metres estimated from the size and contents of the property, not guessed from a bedroom count.
Every mainland corridor, plus Tasmania
You are not buying a truck. You are buying the cubic metres your belongings occupy on one, and if your dates can move, you can buy them considerably cheaper.

What you get
An interstate load sits on a truck for days before anyone opens the doors again, and that changes how it goes on.
Your cubic metres estimated from the size and contents of the property, not guessed from a bedroom count.
Built in tiers and roped off tier by tier, because the load has to hold together over days of road, not just the walk out to the truck.
A truck booked for you alone, or space on one already running your route. You choose, and your quote prices both so you are choosing with the numbers in front of you.
Unloaded at the other end and carried into the rooms you want them in.

What changes the price
Interstate is sold by space, at a rate set by the corridor. Some corridors have trucks every day; some have very few.
The questions that set the price
Most forms want a name and a postcode and leave the real questions for a call you are still waiting on. Answer them here instead. It takes a few minutes, and it is the difference between a quote and a guess.
It needs JavaScript, and something is stopping it. Rather than have you answer seven questions that would go nowhere, here are the two routes that work without it.

Where this usually comes up
How it works
What you have, where it is going, and every awkward thing about getting it out of one place and into the other. The awkward things are the ones that cost money.
Off our own rate card, split into lines, in writing. Then a short call about what a form still cannot see: the carry to the truck, the turn at the top of the stairs, whether the lift has to be booked with the body corporate.
A deposit over the phone confirms your booking and allows us to arrange your move. You will know the truck size, the crew size and when they are due.
The independent removal provider booked for your date does the move. Beds go back together first, and cartons go into the room they were labelled for.
Straight answers
When a truck is already running your route with space left over, you pay for that space rather than for the whole vehicle. The trade is flexibility: you accept a window for pickup and delivery instead of naming a day. On a typical interstate move it is a substantial saving, and your quote prices it both ways rather than showing you only the dearer one.
It depends on the corridor, and on whether the truck is yours alone or you are on a backload. East coast runs are quick. Perth and Darwin run into weeks rather than days, and a backload adds a window at each end because the truck is working to more than one job. A realistic window is worth more than a best case.
Yes. Interstate work carries a minimum load size, so very small jobs price at that minimum. If you are moving only a few items, ring us and we will tell you straight whether an interstate move is the right way to send them.
Yes, storage can be arranged if your dates at either end do not line up. It is common on interstate moves and worth raising early, because it changes how the load is handled.
You do not need to. We work it out from the property type, the number of bedrooms and how full it is, and the more detail you give the closer it lands. Boxes are the part almost everyone underestimates, usually five to ten cubic metres on their own.
