Set up before the move starts
Runners down and the whole route walked before a single item is carried. Ten minutes of setup is what keeps the rest of the day quick.
Residential removals, Australia-wide
Units, townhouses and family homes. Two houses ten minutes apart can be hundreds of dollars apart, and it is almost never the distance that does it.

What you get
Beds come apart first and go on the truck last, so they are the first thing back together at the other end. The day has to finish with somewhere to sleep.
Runners down and the whole route walked before a single item is carried. Ten minutes of setup is what keeps the rest of the day quick.
A fridge, a sofa bed, a stone top carried on its edge: two on it, a trolley under it, and whoever walks backwards calls the pace.
Table legs, bed frames and the flat-pack robe that was built in the room it stands in. Taken apart, and put back together at the other end.
Heavy and square up against the front wall, tiers built to the roof, soft goods last and on top. A tight load also goes on faster, and on a local job the hours are the price.
Furniture goes into the right room, not stacked in the hallway for you to shift later.

What changes the price
Local moves are sold by the hour, not by the kilometre. Two houses ten minutes apart can be hours apart on price, and it is the access at each end that does it.
The questions that set the price
Most forms want a name and a postcode and leave the real questions for a call you are still waiting on. Answer them here instead. It takes a few minutes, and it is the difference between a quote and a guess.
It needs JavaScript, and something is stopping it. Rather than have you answer seven questions that would go nowhere, here are the two routes that work without it.

The enquiry form on the contact page works with JavaScript switched off.
Where this usually comes up
How it works
What you have, where it is going, and every awkward thing about getting it out of one place and into the other. The awkward things are the ones that cost money.
Off our own rate card, split into lines, in writing. Then a short call about what a form still cannot see: the carry to the truck, the turn at the top of the stairs, whether the lift has to be booked with the body corporate.
A deposit over the phone confirms your booking and allows us to arrange your move. You will know the truck size, the crew size and when they are due.
The independent removal provider booked for your date does the move. Beds go back together first, and cartons go into the room they were labelled for.
Straight answers
Most run somewhere between five and eight hours with the right size crew, depending almost entirely on access. Stairs at one end can add hours; a clear driveway at both ends takes them off.
Yes. Bed frames, table legs and anything that will not fit through a doorway intact are dismantled and reassembled at the other end.
They move with everything else. Empty and defrost the fridge the night before, and disconnect the washing machine, because a plumber is not part of the crew.
Tell us when you book. A long carry is the single most common reason a quote changes on the day, and it is far better priced in advance than discovered on the morning.
Yes, and your quote shows the weekend rate as its own line rather than adding it at the end. If your date can shift to a weekday, tell us and we will price it both ways.
